Steve started his career in public accounting, working for a CPA firm that specialized in agricultural cooperatives and not-for-profit organizations. He went on to manage a feed and grain supply cooperative. In his role for Partners for Production Agriculture, he provides financial guidance and support for grain and livestock producers.

He is married to Betty, his best friend of 40 years, and together they have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his grandchildren.
